[Lod] Lod Digest, Vol 3, Issue 1

I will be in Lausanne as well, LOD is one of the hats I will bring!

The GeoHumanities SIG of which I am co-chair with Kathy Weimer has proposed a day-long pre-conference workshop called 'Place and Period in Gazetteers for Digital Humanities.' This domain is very much concerned with LOD, and Pleiades/Pelagios is a working (and growing) example of the value of LOD in real applications. Folks from those projects will be involved in the workshop, and 10 or so others. Fingers crossed we get through the keen competition for workshop slots. Keep an eye out and please consider joining us if we do!
