The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) invites applications 
for a Canada 150 Research Chair in Digital Humanities. Canada 150 
Research Chairs are awarded by competition to exceptional scholars who 
are likely to enhance Canada’s reputation as a global centre for 
science, research and innovation excellence.

The ideal candidate has an outstanding publication record and is an 
expert in History, Quebec studies, historical geography, historical 
demography, history of philosophy, philosophy of culture and society, 
philosophy of science and technology. In accordance with the Program 
rules, UQTR will only consider candidacies submitted by researchers who 
are working and residing outside of Canada at the time of the 
application (including Canadian expatriates). The selected candidate’s 
application will be submitted to the Canada 150 Research Chairs Program. 
If the Program peer-review committee recommends the allocation of a 
Canada 150 Research Chair, UQTR will grant a permanent full-time faculty 
position to the successful candidate.
