Dear all,

Please see the note below regarding a translation project conducted by
our sister SIGs, GO:DH and Libaries & DH. If you know of a non-English
GeoHumanities site that would be a good case for this translation
project, please follow the instructions below.

Subject: [Libdh-sig] Call for nominations: dh/library-relevant work for
DH2016 translation pre conference

GO::DH <http://www.globaloutlookdh.org/>, dh+lib
<http://acrl.ala.org/dh>, and our own Libraries and DH SIG are running a
pre conference workshop at DH2016 that applies the Translation Toolkit
developed by GO::DH to dh+lib, with the goal of promoting exchange of
works among linguistic communities.

For further details on our approach, see:

  * description of the workshop
  * post on dh+lib describing the effort

The workshop involves hands-on translation work, and we’d like to use
works nominated by the dh/library community. If there is a blog or blog
post, essay, article, project, site, thesis/dissertation, etc., that
you’d like to see included, please either add it to the community
GoogleDoc <http://bit.ly/GOdhlib> (http://bit.ly/GOdhlib) or tweet it
out with the hashtag #GOdhlib.

Many thanks for your nominations!

Sarah, writing on behalf of the workshop organizers team: Élika Ortega,
Isabel Galina, Alex Gil, Daniel O’Donnell, Patrick Williams, Zoe
Borovsky, Roxanne Shirazi, Zach Coble, and Glen Worthey.
