Scott Weingart put together an analysis of the submission to DH 2014. The full report is on his blog here: http://www.scottbot.net/HIAL/?p=39588
He reports a marked increase in the number of submissions this year compared to last year and has a break down of topics according to the controlled vocabulary keywords.

You will see three categories that speak to us in the GeoHumanites:
Maps and Mapping – 6.96%
Spatio-temporal Modeling, Analysis and Visualization – 5.43%
Geospatial analysis, Interfaces and Technology – 5.26%

Keep in mind that some submissions may use more than one of these headings.

He also includes a list of frequently used keyword (free text).

Enjoy the read and best of luck to everyone that your proposals will be accepted -

Kathy
